Your breath – you have heard the clichés: it’s the most important movement you’ll ever do, repeated 17,000x/day.
In part 1, we explore the journey of the breath – what happens in the nostrils, sinuses, throat and lungs, the ‘visceral skeleton’, and the breathing apparatus – ribs, neck, and diaphragm.
In part 2, we explore the relations among the breath, emotion, and you autonomic nervous system expression – what does the research say? and what does our experience say?
Open to all who breathe, prior experience with anatomy and physiology language is helpful, but not required.
