Anatomy Trains and Laboratories of Anatomical Enlightenment present Dissection Livestream Specialty Class: The Nervous System – The One-Day Guided Tour with Tom Myers and Todd Garcia

Tom says:  Even though I have championed the fascial system my entire career, the strangest and without doubt the system we know least is the nervous system.  In this one-day tour-de-force of dissection, we begin in the central nervous system – that one kilogram of custard that so runs our lives,  From the meninges to the brainstem, we will explore the major structures of the cerebrum and cerebellum, and their extensions into the cranial nerves.  Module ! ends with an exploration of the peripheral nervous system in the upper limb – the brachial plexus, axillary and arm nerves.  Module 2 continues our exploration out into the autonomic plexi of the lumbars and sensori-motor nerves all the way down the leg.
Those interested in nerve and artery work and those working with pain syndromes are especially recommended to this event.  We welcome everyone, of course, with an eye to expanding the working knowledge of bodywork professionals and movement teachers of all modalities.

This course will be provided over zoom webinar with multiple camera views, live chat and Q&A. Recordings will be provided via password protected streaming access for 5 days.

Note: To ensure a high quality student experience, registration will CLOSE at 8PM EDT on Friday, December 3rd

This special dissection livestream format allows us to go more deeply into the relationships and applications to multiple manual and movement modalities, from athletic training to trauma resolution to osteopathy.

This course is open to all, but due to its advanced nature, some prior experience with dissection, especially our 4-day dissection livestream, is recommended.
