I agree to the terms of this Participant Agreement (“Agreement”) with Anatomy Trains, LLC, a Maine limited liability company (“School”) for the class.

The School provides anatomy education to professionals and students through educational videos showing human dissection. I desire to view such videos as an enrolled student of the School.

In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements set forth herein and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which are hereby acknowledged, we agree as follows.

    1. Status. I acknowledge that I am a health care professional or student in one of the following groups: medical doctor, physical therapist, dentist, surgeon, athletic trainer, acupuncturist, certified yoga teacher, massage therapist, structural integration practitioner, registered nurse, Pilates instructor, anatomy and physiology instructor, medical illustrator, podiatrist, or pain management doctor.
    2. Video Instruction. The School shall provide me with an online classroom setting and will instruct me in human anatomy in part through videos detailing the dissection of a human corpse (the “Program”). Video presentations will be conducted live and may last up to twelve (12) hours. I acknowledge that I will be able to watch a recording of this livestream for 48 hours after I receive it and I also acknowledge this recording is for my own personal educational use and I will not share or capture any part of it.
    3. Intellectual Property. I acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in and to the Program and all videos, documents, work product, and other materials related to the Program are solely the intellectual property of one or more third parties and that the School has a limited license to use the intellectual property associated with the Program on a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicenseable, non-reproduceable basis, and may use the Program for student education only. I specifically acknowledge that I may not and shall not reproduce, prepare derivative works of, distribute, perform, display or transmit the Program, or otherwise copy, create photos of, download, share, or otherwise reproduce any of, or any portion of, the documents, work product, and other materials related to the Program without the School’s express written consent, which consent may be withheld in the sole and absolute discretion of the School.
    4. Entire Agreement. This Agreement contains our entire agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof and it may not be changed orally but only by a written agreement signed by the School and myself.
    5. Agreement Binding. When signed by me, this Agreement shall be binding upon me, my legal representatives, heirs, successors and assigns.
    6. Severability. If any provision of this Agreement becomes or is found to be illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such clause or provision must first be modified to the extent necessary to make this Agreement legal and enforceable and then if necessary, second, severed from the remainder of the Agreement to allow the remainder of the Agreement to remain in full force and effect.
    7. Third Party Beneficiary. The party or parties who have licensed the Program to the School are third party beneficiaries of this Agreement.
    8. Electronic Signature. I agree that my electronic signature, whether digital or encrypted, is intended to authenticate this Agreement and to have the same force and effect as a manual signature.

I have executed this Participant Agreement as of the date 05/24/2020.

Anatomy Trains and Laboratories of Anatomical Enlightenment are pleased to invite you to: Module 1 – Introduction and Superficial Layers- of Dissection Livestream with Tom Myers and Todd Garcia
A Regional and Layered Journey Through the Human Body

Friday, June 5th- 10:00 AM-12:00 PM  EDT – Eastern Time, USA. Please check your local time here: Time Zone Converter (Note: if you cannot attend this session live, it will be recorded for later access for 48 hours).

A message from Tom: Unique times present unique opportunities. For ten years and more master dissector Todd Garcia and I have conducted dissections on untreated cadavers for students from multiple professions, coming from all over the world.

Being in the lab, doing the dissection yourself, making mistakes and learning from them, opening the wonder of the actual human body – it is a singularly spiritual, humbling, emotional, and intellectual voyage of discovery. I know it is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I have learned so much, year upon year, from submitting myself to this journey.

Therefore, we have been very reluctant to put it on video, reserving our classes to require your presence. And now that has changed. So we are too.

For all those who have wished to come and could not, for those who have come before and want to watch Todd work his craft with my commentary, we invite you to join us for a guided tour of the human body through Todd’s amazing skill and my connected myofascial and membrane mapping.

Real, lived anatomy is not like what you have seen in books. We have assembled the audiovisual equipment and planned the course to give you as close to the lived experience as we can – natural color, full range of motion, 3-D views, with applications to therapy and training.

You can join an individual module or sign up for the entire course. This experience will be delivered through Zoom webinar, with high quality audio and video, multiple perspectives, and time for questions.

This course is open to all bodywork professionals worldwide.

***Please note this program is for the intellectually mature and involves unfixed human cadaver images***

Important note: A requirement of this course is a signed participant agreement not to record or share any of the course. This is a requirement of the university donor program, as well as our collective conscience in acting ethically. (You will find this online agreement with important registration details upon signing up).

In order to ensure all student agreements are obtained, attendance updated, and that course Zoom links are provided, registration will be CLOSED Thursday, June 4th at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, USA.

Covered in this module:

Introductions, Tom: Anatomy Reconsidered
Todd: Introduction to the instruments and lab
Respect for the donor program
Epidermis and exposure of superficial fascia layers
