Lida Lavrukovich

Anatomy Trains in Motion Certified Teacher

Certified to teach:

  • Anatomy Trains in Motion
  • Slings Myofascial Training

Every movement of the body is a movement of the soul! This is exactly how Lida sees humans and the world around movement.

Lida has a degree in engineering and economics and has a practice as a gestalt therapist. She therefore studies how emotions are reflected in a human’s body and how a person speaks and listens. She often says that she works as an engineer of human bodies and souls.

Lida has been working in the fitness industry since 2000 when she started as a fitness trainer, later becoming a personal trainer and supervisor. She now teaches several methods, including Anatomy Trains in Motion, Slings Essentials and Slings in Motion.

Lida speaks English and Italian and regularly takes courses in different countries. She is a certified Polestar Pilates Practitioner, a certified Thirst4function Practitioner and a certified HEAT Program Educator and Practitioner. Lida writes and translates articles about fitness, movement therapy and psychotherapy and is a presenter and speaker of local and
international fitness conventions and events.

From 2004 to 2018, Lida was the head of several fitness clubs and opened the first Pilates studio in her native city. She is a fitness and wellness ambassador not only in Russia but also abroad and established the biggest fitness festival in her district that gathers more than 1000 participants every year.

In her work as a movement therapist Lida uses body-oriented therapy and somatic techniques. She studied at the Institute for Somatic Development, USA and now integrates fitness and psychotherapy in her practice. In her education courses, Lida shares information about anatomy, biomechanics and physiology and enriches them with the knowledge of psychology and gestalt therapy such as observations from her personal practice.

Her real passion lies in movement and sport in all its forms. As a child, she got a sport master’s degree in synchronized swimming, won the championships in extreme activities and ran the Moscow marathon. She enjoys hiking, water activities – her passion is SUP and surfing and loves to ski and snowboard in winter. Maybe that is the reason her voice flows smooth and deep like water, allowing her students to gently immerse in the most difficult topics in anatomy.
