In the midst of all the amazing work we do with the psoas, spine, neck, breath, shoulders, I keep noticing how the feet, calves, legs, and knees are underserved, remaining in adverse alignment, even after the series. Without this foundation, the great work above cannot hold.
In this day-long workshop, we will look at a lot of pattern variety and discuss strategies for resolution, but the main drive for the practice is to deal with the ubiquitous anterior pelvic shift – where the pelvis is characteristically centered in front of the ankle. This pattern is damaging to structural integrity, movement efficiency, and indicates a neural pattern of anxious up-regulation. Therefore it is a good pattern to know how to resolve – and this workshop offers both manual therapy and movement cueing for integrating a new restful pattern.
This workshop is intended for manual therapists of all backgrounds.
