Are you a coach, athletic trainer, physical therapist, or rehab specialist who works with high performance athletes? We designed this innovative program working live online with real athletes just for you!
Building on Tom’s highly popular BodyReading 101 & 102 with Fascia Training Academy, we have created a unique 4-hour program. Tom, with nearly 50 years of varied manual therapy experience under his belt, will be working with two high performance athletes live online for the first time, while you listen in and look over his shoulder at the action!
The first session considers hamstring issues in terms of the Anatomy Trains model of kinetic myofascial connections from toes to nose. Hamstrings are not isolated from the rest of body function! Our camera will spotlight a volunteer athlete with hamstring issues, who is very excited to work with Tom online. Learn how to read postural patterns involved in hamstring issues to develop strategies to help athletes regain tissue hydration, glide and structural balance.
In our second session, Tom will review the anatomy of the shoulder in terms of three “shoulder tethers” – short, strong muscles responsible for most shoulder problems when they get too short. We will also review common shoulder patterns in postural assessment, and invite you to join us in a live BodyReading tour of the functional connections in the shoulders of a volunteer athlete on camera.
We are very excited for you to see what Tom sees, as well as providing these practical tools for you to use in your practice in working with high performance athletes!
This course is delivered live via Zoom webinar, with time for Q & A at the end of each session.
If you cannot take this course live, it will be recorded and the recording made available to all registrants for 45 days after the course ends.
