Explore the female pelvis from both the musculoskeletal movement and visceral perspectives. Caryn, Tom, and Pilar – a combined 100 years of practice experience – will blend the ligamentous, bony, and muscular structures with the different organs of the urogenital system, with special attention to the bladder, uterus, and their potential pathology.
This course proceeds from both a manual and movement perspective; you will learn and practice release techniques that allow you to recognize and affect structural distortions and functional imbalances in your clients. Through experiential anatomy and embodiment exercises, we will explore in ourselves how these structures relate to each other and to the rest of our body. Understand “core stabilization” at a whole new level, and develop skills to help clients move from a grounded and embodied place.
