Anatomy Trains senior teacher Michael Watson will offer insights from his 25 years of teaching manual and movement therapy. including the lens of holistic anatomy, tools for static and movement assessment, and demonstration of techniques for palpation and treatment working with a model in his clinic in Bermuda.

This next webinar continues the journey we’ve been building together.

From the foot… to the hamstrings… into the pelvis… and now, into the center.

The psoas sits right at that meeting point.

Often described as a “tight hip flexor,” emerging research points to a more complex role—highlighting its involvement in lumbar spine mechanics, segmental stability, gait coordination, proprioception, and its relationship to breath and pressure regulation.

Understanding this changes how we see the body—and more importantly, how we work with it.

In this session, you’ll gain a clearer framework for:

  • Assessing how the psoas influences lumbar spine organization and pelvic mechanics
  • Distinguishing when it is driving movement vs responding to instability or load
  • Recognizing its role within the broader system of breath, gait, and central coordination
  • Moving beyond local release toward more integrated, lasting clinical outcomes

Building on the pelvic funnel / diabolo concept, this webinar offers a practical and clinically relevant shift—helping you refine your assessment, improve your treatment strategies, and develop greater confidence when working with the spine, pelvis, and hip as an integrated system.

Designed for manual therapists, movement professionals, bodyworkers, coaches, and anyone working with the human body.

Students will have lifetime access to the recordings.

This course will be provided over Zoom webinar with live chat and Q&A.
