“I want to express my gratitude and appreciation of the webinar. Todd was amazing with his artistic dissection and I resonate with Mel’s words of how a dissection changes the way you treat as a soft tissue therapist. This was my first experience and I look forward to attending Anatomy Trains education in the future.” – Ashley Law, Structural Integrator / Bodyworker (Myotherapist)
Even if you have attended previously, please join us for this brand-new 2 x 3 hour online dissection class with live translation into Japanese by Kaori Tani, that presents a unique (and unrepeatable) opportunity in comparative structural anatomy. Anatomy Trains author Tom Myers provides keen insights during Todd Garcia’s masterful dissections, managed and moderated by Anatomy Trains Dissection Lab Instructor and CEO Mel Burns.
In this deep dive into comparative anatomy, we will examine the posture and myofascial patterns of different donors, with particular emphasis on variability of the skeletal geometry and soft tissues presented in each unique human form. This rare dissection livestream format with multiple donors allows us to go more deeply into the relationships and applications to multiple manual and movement modalities. The anatomy books imply that we are all the same. We are so happy to have this opportunity to present the kind of individual differences that are the therapist’s daily challenge.
Features:
- Both male and female donors, to show differences in the pelvis
- A spine with scoliosis, and how rotations affect discs
- Comparative anatomy of psoas major, and of hip joints
- Comparative movements in the ribs, shoulders and neck
