This course is intended for graduates of in person or online Manual Neurovascular Release Parts 1 and 2.
Early bird price of $750 held until May 24, 2023 / $850 thereafter.
In Manual NVR Part 3, we will continue working strategically with the neurovascular network to balance posture and improve movement. We will be focusing on the lower extremities, assessing lower body patterns, and developing a detailed understanding of the anatomy and function of the lower legs and feet. We will consider balance in the arches of the feet, midfoot stiffness, bunions, plantar fasciitis, knee issues, and how to help people adapt to minimal shoes. You can expect from this course that you will experience improved one-legged balance and foot articulation in your own body, and a greater experiential understanding of how the work that we have done in the core of the torso is helpful for leg and foot symptoms. We will revisit the hamstrings and quads to explore how these affect tibial rotation and patellar tracking, and we will look at the neural and vascular contribution to the spiral patterns that wind down through the lower limb.
In this five-part course series, the techniques and strategies that you learn allow you to fine-tune structural balance. We dive deeply into the details that will help you hone your subtle palpation and assessment skills. We work from the torso out to the periphery, freeing vasculature, nerves, dura, and viscera.
This approach is great for every client or patient who can use an extra nudge to help them emerge from an old structural pattern, especially for athletes and other people with activity- or injury-based imbalances. After each of the NVR courses, you’ll want to invite your past clients/ patients back for a few tune-up sessions that incorporate NVR.
Prerequisite: NVR Parts 1 and 2, either online or in person.
