The neck is in many ways the centre of the body. Learn Fascial Release techniques for the various layers of the neck, in both the visceral and the motor cylinder, including the SCM and Trapezius, spinal muscles in the neck, the sub-occipital quartet, the scalenes, and the longus muscles. The techniques are designed to ease commonly seen patterns of head forward posture, breathing restriction, exaggerated or reduced curvatures, and side shifts or tilts that affect head position. Learn to assess fascial tissues through palpation, and to see how neck patterns affect the rest of the body posture and function.
This course is open to all bodyworkers or trainers, but is designed as a manual therapy course, and multiple hands-on techniques will be demonstrated and practiced under supervision. Prior experience with ‘ten-fingered’ manual therapy is not a requirement but will definitely be a plus.
