Anatomy Trains and Laboratories of Anatomical Enlightenment present 2-Day Dissection Livestream Specialty Class: Deep Dive into the Joints and their Controllers with Tom Myers and Todd Garcia
In this two day event, we will examine the blended nature of support for each of the named articulations, including:
- Shifts in skin and superficial fascial layers near the joint
- Separation and resection of the muscles that control the joint
- Isolation of the tendons that support joint stability and create movement
- Exposure of the ligaments and ligamentous capsule around the joints
- Joint surfaces, synovia, and internal joint architecture
- Practice applications, including Anatomy Trains continuities
- (Please note: Each module contains our “wish list” of structures, subject to the particulars of the donor)
This special dissection livestream format allows us to go more deeply into the relationships and applications to multiple manual and movement modalities, from athletic training to trauma resolution to osteopathy.
This course is open to all, but due to its advanced nature, some prior experience with dissection, especially our 4-day dissection livestream, is recommended.
