Join our unique collaboration between Tom Myers and Institute of Motion Director Michol Dalcourt in a 2-day exploration of fascia and movement.
This 2-day intensive course is unlike anything you have done before, and will forever change your view of what’s going on inside – and therefore how you train yourself and others.
Spend Day 1 in the hands-on anatomy lab doing dissection projects and seeing the nerves, joints, organs, muscles, and the many layers and types of fascial tissue: tendons, ligaments, sheets and attachments, then apply this knowledge in the Day 2 workshop.
Hands on Knowledge
Update your book learning by working with the real body in ‘fresh tissue’ (untreated) cadavers, under the direction of Tom Myers and lab director Todd Garcia.
Under Institute of Motion’s direction on the second day, we will apply what we have learned to improve training performance and prevent injury.
Concepts such as loaded movement training, mechanical stress variability, integrated program modeling will focus a lens towards a ‘shared tissue response’ to training and conditioning.
Both Tom and IoM will be teaching on both days for a true collaboration and integrated anatomy and training experience.
