As part of the Yoga Teacher Training Intensive with Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor, please join us for a 2-day in-person dissection intensive with master dissector Todd Garcia, physician/yoga teacher trainer Leni Scherer, and structural integrator/yoga teacher trainer Melanie Burns. You will have a unique opportunity to see in the most natural conditions possible what is under your skin. All our work will be with fresh-frozen cadavers – meaning untreated and no chemical smell – providing a much more ‘true-to-life’ view of tissue consistency and coloring. Untreated tissue has the same color and texture, and moves through a similar range of motion as the living body, and offers a very different perception of the relationships, movement potential, and behavior of fascial tissues. You will meet students from all around the world and from all points-of-view within the manual, movement and medical professions to explore the complexity of the actual human form.
*Course will be taught in English
