I am a former manufacturing manager who successfully practiced as a sports therapist for many years while working full time. I guess you’d say full-time earning a living and part-time doing the job I love.
Having spent a number of years practicing the martial arts and then cycling and triathlon, I’ve a love for all methods of human achievement. Trained in Swedish Massage,Clinical Sports Therapy and Manipulative Therapy I came to KMI after listening, watching and practicing in an “Anatomy Trains” presentation with James Earls and Tom Myers in Edinburgh a few years ago. KMI has really changed the way I consider my approach to bodywork. Being trained by James Earls and Tom Myers has been a wonderful experience, but equally is a curse. It’s made me even more inquisitive with regard to the human body, and its’ physical and psychological operation. I’ve always been committed to lifelong learning – our patients need to know that we are up to date and are being cared for by the best the practitioner can give! KMI has provided a further spur to my education process!
