Richard has been working with the human body for more than 20 years, training in many forms of hands-on therapy, movement, meditation, and bodywork. After receiving his first degree from Arizona State University in exercise physiology, he moved to Hawaii to complete his Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Upon receiving his license for acupuncture he went to China to study in a TCM hospital, travel, and teach yoga. Richard returned home and found an intense interest in the work of Ida Rolf and is now certified in Anatomy Trains Structural Integration and holds an advanced certificate in Zenbodytherapy®. For the last 11 years he worked privately with executives and visited clinics and healing centers in the US, Asia, and Europe. Since 2020 he has moved his home base from Hawaii to Switzerland but still loves to be outdoors without shoes and especially in lakes and the ocean.
Richard is a catalyst for change. He has a simple philosophy, all healing begins with a shift. This shift can be physical, emotional, energetic – a shift in understanding or perspective. Meeting people where they are in the present moment, developing trust, and moving to a new place together. His knowledge and techniques combined with his awareness and presence, empower clients to break old patterns creating new opportunities for the body to heal itself.
