After sustaining many sport related injuries while I was still developing, my body was forced to adapt, heal and grow according to my nutritional choices, sports and psychological states. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 18 years of age and feeling that their wasn’t any hope in the western medical system for me, I took matters into my own hands and started to educate myself. This lead me to study massage therapy at Finger Lakes School of Massage. While I was there, one of my teachers was a Structural Integrator and we went through a 12 series together that changed my life. I was blown away at what had just happen and felt it was so profound that I needed to study it and learn it. This path lead me all the way to Arizona where I not only graduated from KMI but I was fortunate enough to further my studies in the role nutrition has with autoimmune disorders. My body has now beaten rheumatoid arthritis, regenerated damaged cartilage, and that in turn has changed my life forever. Now its my turn to give back.
