Jason Spitalnik

Newport, RI, USA

Two weeks after Jason finished massage school in 2005, he continued on to learn neuromuscular therapy and certified within the first year. Still, with many unanswered questions Jason continued with Active Isolated Stretching and Orthopedic Massage. Towards the middle of Jason’s second year of practice, he heard numerous times about Tom Myers and Anatomy Trains. So Jason took a weekend seminar with Tom, and was immediately hooked. In 2007 Jason was accepted to take the KMI course, and did so. After dedicating a year of his life to learn, in detail, the mechanics and movement of the human body, Jason became even more fascinated with the complexities of the human form. Jason is now working on certifications in Orthopedic Massage, Neurology of Posture and Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute. Even though Jason will always be a student, he also teaches Orthopedic Assessment at a local college. Jason will forever be on a quest for better health, for his clients, through structure, movement, diet and exercise. Jason is also a professional member of International Association of Structural Integrators, American Massage Therapy Association, and NCBTMB.
