Bobbi Jackson

Princeton, NJ, USA

Bobbi Jackson, BSc, BFA, BCSI, has worked in research in the Animal Science Departments of PSU and at McGill University. She has experience as an aid to Physical therapists and as an Operating Room Assistant with small and large animals. She has been riding most of her life and has spent much of that time learning the ‘Art of Dressage’.

While going through her own ‘Rolfing 10 series’, she began thinking about whether this work might be beneficial for one of her horses who had injured himself. It was after this horse injured himself for the second time, that she pursued studies and became certified through The Equine Natural Movement School as a Practitioner of Equine Structural Integration.

After working with horses for a few years, she was asked one day to work on ‘a human’. From then on she found she was often asked by people if she might work on them. As a result, she headed up to Maine for training with Thomas Myers at Kinesis, Inc. and Certified as a KMI Practitioner; she was also granted Board Certification with IASI (The International Association of Structural Integrators).

Bobbi especially enjoys working with riders and their horses (improving ‘team cohesiveness’). Athletes, non athletes, or those who have had injuries, illnesses, or have not ‘aged gracefully’ benefit from Structural Integration. Bobbi’s client’s are individuals looking forward to having bodies that can move freely and without constraint. People wishing to enjoy everyday life, advance their athletic careers, as well as individuals with hopes to return to their activities (even after injuries) can enjoy greater balance, suppleness, vibrancy and grace, and possibly even reduce the risk of re-injury.
