Alex has been Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork since 1995. She received her initial training in Anatomy Trains and KMI Structural Integration from Tom Myers, Carrie Gaynor and Larry Phipps from 2004-2008. She is also certified in Orthopedic Massage (Whitney Lowe, 1998) and has advanced training in Travell and Simons’ Trigger Point Therapy. She has studied martial arts since 1980 and currently practices the non-violent art of Aikido which enhances and informs her bodywork practice.
