Rock is a highly skilled movement educator and structural integration practitioner with over a decade of experience in the field of functional fitness. Based in Santa Cruz, CA, Rock operates a private personal training facility, Mavericks Fitness, where they focus on structural alignment, optimal movement patterns, and helping clients reconnect with their bodies through mindful, practical exercise.
As an assistant teacher for Anatomy Trains, Rock brings a unique perspective, blending in-depth movement coaching with hands-on experience in structural integration. They have travelled extensively across the United States, Greece, and Ukraine, supporting workshops and helping students deepen their understanding of anatomy, fascia, and movement integration. Known for their passion for functional movement and clear, compassionate teaching style, Rock strives to make complex concepts approachable and applicable for students.
In addition to their teaching role, Rock is pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Planning at San Jose State University, holding associate degrees in anthropology, business, chemistry, communication, philosophy, psychology, and kinesiology. This diverse educational background complements their work, providing a well-rounded approach to learning and teaching.
