Katja has completed her Anatomy Trains Structural Integration certification in Walpole, Maine, and is a Board Certified Structural Integration Practitioner (BCSI).

She holds a Bachelors degree (BSc) in Sports Science from the Technical University of Munich and a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the Friedrich- Alexander University Erlangen Nürnberg; the latter of which was honored with the Best Student Award‘ of 2011. She has been an active member of the Fascia Research Group (lead by Dr. Robert Schleip and Prof. Werner Klingler at Ulm University) since January 2019 and has published several peer reviewed studies in sports science as well as fascia research. Katja has been teaching yoga for about a decade, is certified as E-RYT 500, and is teaching anatomy and fascia physiology in yoga teacher trainings around Europe.
