Coming from movement and fitness background, Ginny has always been interested in how humans navigate the world. Growing up in New England gave her the opportunity to explore the outdoors with a variety of terrain through skiing, cycling and scuba diving. Each of these has a different posture, rhythm and myofascial pattern that is curious – what makes one person more adaptable to a certain activity while another person struggles? How can a person find the most joy in movement everyday?
Ginny’s background includes personal training and group fitness for over 15 years. A workshop on fascia in 2014 introduced her to the Anatomy Trains map which changed her career path to include bodywork. Ginny graduated from massage therapy school in 2016 and the ATSI program in 2019. From there, the desire to share what she learned with others lead her to the Anatomy Trains teacher training program.
“This work has been so valuable in helping my clients discover better ways to feel “at home” in their bodies! As I continue to connect the dots for myself, I am excited to shine a light on these concepts for others in the field. One of my favorite ways to learn and teach is to create a model to simplify a complex idea.”
Ginny currently has an office in Hampton, NH, where she offers structural integration services to the local community.
