Before becoming a bodyworker, Sébastien Isaia spent many years working in finance and the corporate world. Alongside his professional career, he developed a deep interest in movement, body mechanics, and human potential. A longtime martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, he became increasingly curious about how the organization of the body influences posture, movement, performance, and overall well-being.

This exploration eventually led him to Structural Integration and the Anatomy Trains approach. He completed the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration program, studying primarily with Michael Watson, and became a certified ATSI practitioner in 2024. Based in Aix-en-Provence, France, he now supports people from a wide range of backgrounds in developing greater ease, balance, and freedom in their bodies.

Sébastien says, “Moving from the structure of organizations to the structure of the human body may seem like a major change, but to me there is a natural continuity. Both involve understanding relationships, identifying patterns of tension or imbalance, and helping the whole system function in a more coherent way.”

His approach combines curiosity, precision, and a practical understanding of movement. He enjoys making complex ideas accessible and engaging, encouraging students and clients to explore the body not as a collection of separate parts, but as a living, adaptable, and interconnected whole. Sébastien is now continuing his journey with Anatomy Trains as a teacher in training.
