All my life I loved movement, especially Modern Dance, but was even more interested in anatomy and the depth of movement within our body. From Dance life took me to successfully leading my own Pilates Studio in the western part of Germany for two decades, writing a bestselling book about Pilates and getting my Master Teacher Degree by Marie José Blom, whose work is closely connected to Tom Myers and Anatomy Trains.
Inspired by Tom and Marie José I started my AT journey in 2017 with ATSF, lead by Michael Watson, who got me from the very first movement with that fascinating knowledge about myofascial lines within our body and the power of well informed touch. From the very beginning I commited to that wonderful concept and absolved my Part III in 2022, feeling something in my body I never felt before in all those years.
For me, getting my own 12series felt like coming home and this is, what I love my clients to support with, finding their very own sense of home. I especially try to enhance freedom in movement and stability through DFL by the combination of touch and soft, but informative movements like we use them in our integrational sessions.
In my clinic I offer SI sessions and personal trainings focused on developing DFL supported movement patterns to support the outcome of an SI series as well as PTs on its own.
