Daniel Loh is an Anatomy Trains Structural Integrator based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, dedicated to helping clients restore structural balance, improve posture, and move with greater ease and efficiency. He completed his Structural Integration training through the Anatomy Trains program developed by Thomas W. Myers, studying under senior faculty members Julie Hammond, Chris Clayton and many more.
As one of the practitioners offering Structural Integration in Malaysia, Daniel works with the body’s myofascial system through a systematic series of sessions designed to help reorganize the body in gravity. His approach combines precise hands-on fascial work with movement awareness to release long-standing tension patterns, improve alignment, and support more efficient and coordinated movement.
Daniel has also completed specialized training in BoneWork and ScarWork with Sharon Wheeler, techniques that address the deeper structural relationships of bone and the fascial restrictions associated with scar tissue. These approaches allow him to support clients dealing with post-surgical scars, injury-related restrictions, and complex structural patterns. In addition, he is undergoing training in Craniosacral Therapy (CST), further broadening his understanding of the subtle relationships between the fascial, nervous, and craniosacral systems.
His Structural Integration practice is supported by a strong background in movement education. Daniel is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), a certified Pilates instructor with Balanced Body, and a licensed teacher of both the GYROTONIC® Method and the GYROKINESIS® Method. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness and a Group Fitness Instructor through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America. In addition, he holds a Long Distance Running Coach certification from World Athletics (formerly IAAF) , reflecting his interest in supporting endurance athletes through improved structural efficiency and movement awareness.
Daniel operates a Yoga, Pilates and GYROTONIC® studio in Kuala Lumpur where Structural Integration forms a central focus of his work. He works with a diverse range of clients—from individuals seeking relief from chronic tension and postural imbalances to athletes aiming to optimize movement efficiency and performance.
Through his practice, Daniel is committed to expanding awareness of Structural Integration and fascia-informed movement in Malaysia, helping people move with greater balance, resilience, and connection in their daily lives.
“Like islands in the sea, we appear separate on the surface, yet beneath it all we are connected—just like fascia.”
