Lakeville, MN, USA

I began my education in 1990 in engineering and helped grow and develop two small businesses in the construction and design/manufacturing industries prior to pivoting to bodywork. In 2019 I became a licensed massage therapist and continued advanced massage training at Esalen. It was at Esalen that I became interested in Somatic Experiencing and increased my interest in Structural Integration.

Structural Integration was very appealing to my engineering mind and the puzzles that one can try to solve when looking at the body to determine the best way to bring about ease and alignment. In 2021 I received my first 12-series which brought about significant change in my body. I had previously had back surgery which had helped, but also had left fascial restrictions in my lower back limiting movement and causing some pain. The 12-series increased my adaptability in my lower back and movement and balanced improved.

In 2025 I finished my training in Somatic Experiencing and Structural Integration. The combination of both modalities creates a safe container for releasing trauma that the body may be holding while building resilience in both the mind and body.
