Praise for Anatomy Trains Courses:

This was the most positive learning environment/workshop I have ever taken. I have an education in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Biomechanics, dancing, pilates, PT, etc., and by far, the work and the presenters were the most tangible, inspiring and practical in their knowledge, application and embodiment.

Re-printed with permission from Erin Godfrey, who attended Mark and Deb Finch's Anatomy Trains class at Yoga Spirit the weekend of February 2, 2007.

I have taken many, many courses over the past 18 years and this one was fantastic.

Anatomy Trains will not only bring my massage practice to a new level, it has already, immediately changed my own body awareness, which I know will bring my yoga and martial arts to the next level as well.

Gerri-Lee Gravelle, RMT, attended Mark Finch's and Carrie Gaynor's Anatomy Trains class at Yoga Spirit on June 22-24, 2007.

I have been teaching Pilates for 10 years. I deeply respect the system and I am always looking for the new ways to take my practice to the next level. In 2001 I discovered Thomas Myers' groundbreaking book, Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians
and began my own intense studies of the system. Years later I was fortunate enough to attend Mark Finch’s course, where the light switch was flipped and I was truly able to marry these concepts together with what I do. To the wonderful Mark Finch a huge thank you for his deep knowledge of this work and his fantastic teaching abilities that enable even the thick headed to understand how to integrate the Myofascial Slings into movement. This work has blown open a whole new doorway in my teaching and has profoundly enriched and deepened my approach to Pilates, Stretching and Small Ball Release techniques. I am now happily and irrevocably immersed in a life-long process in understanding the science of the sling system and implementing the rules into my practice. I believe that integrating these principles will lead my clients towards a more balanced approach to achieving overall body wisdom.

Thank you so much for your class on Sunday. I had already seen Body Worlds 2 but knew I wanted to return to study the models (or human art forms) and doing so with you as the guide was perfect. Your manner, your perspective, and your humor are engaging and informative. I got very excited when on the tour you told us about your dissection which confirmed your theory about the lines!!! Every time I work with the body, I can feel the lines. It is such a solid foundation on which to do body work. Thank you!
