Aimee Baker

Aimee, a hippie and dancer soul, has always intuitively felt the holism of the human body and the primacy of movement in striving to attain goals that relate to cultivating a heightened sense of well-being, happiness and personal integrity. She feels lucky to count Thomas Myers, James Earls and Karin Gurtner among her teachers. Their beautiful knowledge and teachings have endlessly fortified her intuitive senses and made them equally concrete and embodied.

Aimee began teaching Pilates 2001, founded Bodylogic Pilates studio in 2005 and has been named as the Best Personalized Pilates Teacher by the Philadelphia Magazine. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Dance from the University of Colorado and infuses principles from Pilates, Anatomy Trains, multiple forms of dance, Functional Movement Screen, CoreAlign®, Gyrotonic®, Lagree Fitness, AFAA Group Exercise and NASM Small Group Personal Training into her teaching. Aimee’s multifaceted movement sessions help students achieve the body awareness, resilience and strength necessary to best manage and counterbalance 21st century living and to lead happy, full lives.

Aimee lives in Colorado with her husband and two children and enjoys hiking, camping, mountain biking, salsa and aerial dance.
