SCHEDULE

Part I: Structural Vision
August 21-30, 2012
(75 hours)
Learn to Bodyread your client's posture and movement, seeing into the inter-related patterns that compromise movement and posture.

Part I is open to Yoga, Pilates, Movement Teachers and Manual and Movement Therapists.

Part II: Structural Strategies
October 2-November 15, 2012
(150 hours)
Immersion in fascial and myofascial technique with supervised instruction in KMI 3-session series.

Part III: Structural Integration
March 11-June 9, 2013
(275 hours)
Full spectrum clinical application with supervised instruction in KMI 12-session series
 

PREREQUISITES

  • Bodyworkers of all backgrounds are eligible to attend Part I including but not limited to yoga, Pilates, personal trainers, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Massage Therapists.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience after graduating from a recognized training program in manual therapy is strongly recommended prior to engaging in Part II / III of KMI. Exceptions on a situational basis considered.
  • All participants must attend an Anatomy Trains® Myofascial Meridians manual workshop. A full schedule can be found online by visiting www.AnatomyTrains.com/schedule
  • All participants must receive a 10/12 series from a professional Structural Integration practitioner prior to engaging in Part III of KMI.

Part I - $1,900
Part II - $3,600
Part III - $5,400

$500 USD deposit required

  • Deposit is nonrefundable after June 21, 2012 unless the training is cancelled by Kinesis or your application is denied.
  • Balance of tuition is payable in full by August 14, 2012 unless payment plan arrangements are made.
  • All participants must submit an Application. Acceptance is at the discretion of Kinesis and Tom Myers.
  • Once accepted, please refrain from making travel arrangements until we confirm that our minimum enrollment numbers have been reached for the program to take place

PAYMENT PLAN

Kinesis does not provide scholarships or financial assistance. However, we do offer students the ability to pay their tuition in multiple increments. Upon acceptance to KMI and receipt of the $500 nonrefundable deposit, you will receive details regarding scheduling a payment plan. You will be required to provide your credit card information and to sign an agreement authorizing Kinesis to charge your card on designated dates.

Walpole (Damariscotta), Maine

Clarks Cove is a small hamlet in Walpole which is about 8 miles south of the town of Damariscotta (one hour from Portland, ME and three hours from Boston, MA). We are situated on the Pemaquid Penninsula which fronts on the Damariscotta River, a tidal estuary known for its natural beauty and aquaculture industry.
