Are you a movement professional? Would you like to deepen your understanding of human anatomy in a holistic format which is directly applicable to your work?

Discover a new approach to anatomy and the Anatomy Trains body map with Tom Myers. You will learn about the role of fascial fabric in physical development, training and movement, as well as building strategic tools (including touch and verbal cues) to support your clients in their physical practice.

Through lectures, experiential movement, partner work and hands on experience, you will:

  • Gain intricate knowledge of fascia and its role in movement and health
  • Learn the BodyReading method for practical assessment
  • Gain actionable tools and cues to support health, alignment, gait, functional movement and intention
  • Understand injury and injury repair in fascial terms
  • Learn how to use breath to support movement
  • Explore developmental movement patterns and their basis for more adult patterning
  • Explore somato-psychology — stress, distress, eustress and the expression of emotion, trauma and retraction in movement

You will take home the skills needed to see and understand bodies, map patterns in the myofascial meridians, and use manual and movement practices to embody balance, grace and ease.

Open to all, but of particular benefit to movement professionals including yoga teachers, pilates teachers, personal trainers, massage therapists and other bodyworkers.
