What is ‘core strength’? And how does it differ from ‘core support’? Get practical and visual assessment cues to be able to tell the difference and make useful corrections. For years we have been hearing about transversus abdominis and how to strengthen it. However, it’s complicated. This workshop outlines the core research to date and proposes a new definition of core – psoas-diaphragm balance – how to see it, and how to cue for deep internal change that synchronises breath, organs, and spine for real – not manufactured – core resilience.
Open to all with a core, this workshop makes liberal use of anatomical language, and leans on Chapter 9 of the Anatomy Trains book, if you want to prepare.
