Anatomy Trains® Multi-Program DVD Series Presents Core Techniques for the Myofascial Meridians for Manual Therapists

Walpole, Maine – October 30, 2004 – Kinesis, Inc. today announced that it has released a new four part DVD series of Anatomy Trains: Myofascial Meridians for manual therapists:

Together, this series supplements chapters 7-9 of the book Anatomy Trains: Myofascial Meridians for Manual and Movement Therapists (Elsevier, 2001), and is filled with unique methods for opening and balancing the body, based on Tom Myers’ revolutionary Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians concepts.

Deep Front Line – Part 1

This program presents techniques from the waist down. More than a simple demonstration program, these core techniques, including techniques for the psoas and many deep muscles of the pelvis, are taught either in a session context or in a small class mentoring situation. It is designed so that viewers can apply these essential techniques with maximum confidence, understanding and ease.

Deep Front Line – Part 2

The Functional Lines

This program presents integrated manual and movement techniques for easing, strengthening and repositioning the Functional Lines that join the contralateral shoulder and hip – applicable to sports-related applications. It also provides a review of Functional Line anatomy, an overview of the issues and patterns associated with the Functional Lines, and a wide range of individual manual release techniques, stretching and strengthening techniques and movement treatment for the Functional Lines.

The Shoulder and Arm Lines

It also provides a review of the relevant shoulder and arm anatomy, an overview of issues and patterns commonly associated with shoulders and arms, a wide range of fascial release techniques and variations for the shoulders and arms.
