"Some bring joy wherever they go; some whenever they go." - Oscar Wilde

Robert Schleip, Ph.D.

"In teaching musculoskeletal anatomy I have found the Anatomy Trains to be a very useful tool. Whether this is in teaching anatomy for bodyworkers, dancers, sports coaches or physiotherapists, these myofascial connections provide an excellent teaching device to bridge the gap between fragmented textbook anatomy to functional applications, such as in the analysis of myofascial tension transmission across several body segments in sports, yoga or everyday activities."

Robert is a a Life Science Teacher as well as Rolfing Instructor for the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration and the European Rolfing Association. He is a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, and has been teaching anatomy since 1985. Based on his recent PhD research on active fascial contractitility at the University of Ulm, he was awarded the Vladimir Janda Award for musculoskeletal medicine.
