| Biography | A bodyworker since 1994, Lauren maintains a private practice focusing on structural integration and craniosacral therapy. In addition to her work with adults, she has a special interest in craniosacral therapy for children. She recently became certified in KMI as a way of deepening her understanding of whole-body postural patterns and myofascial release. Lauren finds the KMI model of structural integration to be a fascinating context for her abiding interest in the transformative power of touch.
Lauren was a core faculty member and Dean of Students at the Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle for over 8 years. Teaching remains a passion for her, and she continues to lead advanced classes in craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and professional ethics. She practices from her home, which she shares with her husband and 6-year-old son. |
