| Biography | Sandra Hayner began studying with Tom Myers in 2002 and became certified in KMI (Kinesis Myofascial Integration) in 2003. She now practices in Olympia, WA and offers the 12 series or individual sessions to private clients. Sandra is passionate about KMI because she has found it to be extraordinarily effective in facilitating changes in her clients. She sees that utilizing KMI for releasing blockages, restrictions, and patterns of compensation, clients can ultimately achieve greater alignment, reduced pain, heightened awareness, optimized functioning, and wholeness. The capacity of KMI for creating integration within ourselves, with others, and with the larger universe makes this work especially profound and appealing to Sandra. As well as being certified in KMI, Sandra has studied Visceral Manipulation with Christoff Sommer and Thomas Myers, Structural Bodywork in San Diego at the International Professional School of Bodywork with Ed Maupin, and Continuum Movement with Emilie Conrad. She received her Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) certification and bodywork training from Heartwood Institute in northern California. Other studies include Dance/Movement Therapy at Antioch New England, Integrative Nutrition, Expressive Arts Therapy, and numerous other holistic health related modalities over the past 35 years. Sandra brings a broad base of knowledge and deep caring to her work. Her desire is for each person to be open to their own inner knowing and beauty, to peace and the richness of life, and to greater consciousness. She has found that KMI is a modality that can powerfully assist in the process. Sandra is a certified Holistic Heakth Practitioner, is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB), is a Certified Structural Integrator (CM), is a member of the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI) and is an Advanced KMI practitioner. |
