KMI FacultyCurrently, there are two people fully qualified to teach the full KMI 12-series, Tom Myers and Larry Phipps. Tom Myers is the director of Kinesis, Inc and the founder of KMI. Tom studied Structural Integration with Ida Rolf from 1975 - 1978, and was Chair of the Life Science faculty for the Rolf Institute during the 90's. Tom left the faculty at the Rolf Institute to start Kinesis and explore the possibilities inherent in the idea that the series would make more sense built around a coherent set of myofascial continuities. Larry Phipps has an expressed passion for life, to further human potential and seeking to enhance the somatic expression has produced for me a lifelong journey of learning. This I call the experience of Structural Integration.I have worked in sales, 12 years behavioral health, 8 years massage and bodywork, 19 years. Today with an active practice in Memphis and Nashville, I travel to teach KMI. A Guild for Structural Integration graduate of 1990, advanced training GSI 1994, teaching assistant GSI in 1996 and 1998. Kinesis teaching assistant since 2002, I became a certified KMI practitioner in 2003, and have been serving as a Certified KMI Teacher since 2004. B.S.
