KMI Reunion 2007

Twenty-five practitioners from various SI backgrounds came to Clarks Cove on the weekend of August 24-26! After a meet-and-greet hour on Friday evening, Tom Myers spoke on "The Rise of Spatial Medicine."

On Saturday morning, Dr. Steven Levin, an orthopedic surgeon, gave a lecture on "Biotensegrity: A New Model of Human Structure." The afternoon was spent sharing work and techniques. The evening featured a panel discussion with Tom, Robert and Dr. Robert Schleip, a Rolfing instructor who has spearheaded research into the nature of fascial fabric.

Robert gave a lecture on Sunday entitled, "New Directions in Fascial Research." After a closing ceremony, the participants headed down to the shore, where on the banks of the Damariscotta River, in picturesque Clarks Cove, they feasted on an authentic New England lobster bake. The afternoon concluded with swimming off the wharf into the river's chilly waters!
