What is the element in the body that molds the fluid of our body into the shape it is, and keeps it there (while allowing the fluid to circulate? The answer is fiber. The fiber in the body creates sheets and bags to contain and direct the water.
(This is a picture of blood cells - representing the fluid of the blood - and the fiber of a scab forming out of the fibrinogen 'glue' in the blood - a wonderful image of how the dance between fluid and fiber plays out in our bodies.)
It's the fiber that won't allow the body to take any shape it wants. So when we attempt to live our way into a yoga posture, the body's fluid is quite willing, but the body's fiber is what resists.
