Fascial Dissection Course

This is a unique opportunity to see and practice dissection with Tom Myers and Todd Garcia at the Laboratories for Anatomical Enlightenment — our first such course in several years. It promises to be a great event, combining students from all types of manual therapy, movement therapy, and fitness in an exploration of the human form.

Todd and Tom will offer tutorials, explanations, brief lectures, and demonstrations on our collective findings. Choose the project you want to follow, as well as observe the results of everyone else's projects also. No previous experience with dissection is necessary to attend this course.

There is a wonderful ebb and flow to these courses. The emotional and spiritual aspects of the experience are very much respected. It's a voyage of discovery. There are great courses in dissection out there, like Gil Hedley's and some others. But this is a chance to learn about the body, the fascia, and the Anatomy Trains first hand, with your own hands and eyes, with Tom and Todd as guides. Over the 5 days, we will be going from skin to bone, including the ventral organs and central nervous system. What is it you want to know about? This is the course to see and work with the human form firsthand, for yourself, not just observe pre-prepared specimens.
