"Change your body about your mind." - Peter Melchior

Christoph Sommer

In my own 20 years of practical experience and in my actual personal learning with Tom while he was developing the building blocks of the anatomy trains since I met him in 1985, the value of understanding the 3-D relationships of the myofascial continuities in such a clear patterned way is immense. My personal interest, inspired by Jean Pierre Barral and Peter Schwind, have highlighted the influences of the inner constructions that have a strong influence on human structure via the " deep front line".

In addition, I am also discussing the existence of a "deep back line," the connective tissues around the CNS and PNS (central and peripheral nervous system). To understand and manually differentiate these structures has been a major improvement in the effectiveness in my treatments. How does the core shape the meridians?

Christoph Sommer is an inspired practitioner, approved by Dr. Barral to teach both the visceral and the new nervous system work. Christoph has beena Rolfer for over 20 years and is a teacher in the European Rolfing Association trainings. He has spent the last dozen years learning from and assisting Jean-Pierre and his associates.
