Carrie Gaynor teaches Anatomy Trains and KMI courses using a unique teaching philosophy learned during her nursing education at the University of Rochester (1993). Carrie synthesizes years of direct study with Tom Myers (1999), her KMI clinical practice (2003), Kinesis faculty appointment (2006), and research interests into her teaching. Carrie, who additionally co-directs ABSOLUTE Yoga & Wellness, integrates movement into the classroom, linking form and function, inspired by nearly two decades of Yoga practice, teaching and therapeutics.

Carrie is currently investing her volunteer time serving the Structural Integration community.  She is working for the Certification Board for Structural Integration as an Executive Board Member, Chair of the Finance Committee, and Co-Chair of the Exam Communications Committee. Carrie is also a new board member (September 2009) of the International Association of Structural Integrators.
